Gladwell says genius doesn´t necessarily come at speed. I guess this links in to the 10,000 hours concept as well? It ws funny to hear the latter being mentioned on Radio 4 Thought for the day  just after I had read about it.

Open OSX application from command line

Didn´t want to go downstairs to start iTunes so I can listen to our shared library in the office. SSH in and issue the command open -a itunes.app and all is well. Thanks to MacOSXHints for the information.

Looks like there is a PHP bug that caused some of my links to get messed up on the blog. The standard entities like less-than and greater-than get removed from the script. Not sure who´s going to fix this, but here are some links to keep an eye on.
