That was the most impressive storm I’ve seen – and I’ve been here since 2001.
Hoping folks on the mainland are doing okay. In general, they have far less infrastructure.

Wow, that is impressive. Makes sense, given the last T10 was in 1999.
It is amazing how safe one can feel here: a testament to the often hidden work done in making HK so safe.
Completely agree with your concerns about the mainland; at least the storm weakened substantially when it made landfall.
