Whole Earth Discipline has some interesting non-mainstream views on what we might actually have to do to rein in and reverse the damage to the environment we have already caused. I particularly liked the idea that agriculture is possibly the most non-natural thing we have done as a race. Certainly the vast “factory” farms shown in Jimmy’s Global Harvest aren’t the pleasant rolling pastoral landscapes we might expect or want. (Thanks to Jonny for the link).
