Servant Leadership is a nice way of putting it. I believe it is as important as a manager to help with the work activities people don´t like as it is to bring on the exciting new learning opportunities. How else do you keep the respect of others? Not by being aloof as "senior management" or shouting at people for not doing it right but not showing them how do do it.
