W00t! Thx to M, I stumbled upon Morris Kline’s ‘Mathematics in Western Civilsation’ (set aside Ghandi jokes plzkthx) which is what I wish I’d seen decades ago, because I have zero appreciation of the so-called ‘beauty’ of mathmetical manipulation. OTOH, the Khan Academy stuff is precisely the kind of manipulation techniques I never learnt beyond a given level, so perhaps i can, with both tools, overcome a lifetime of frustration. And Timmy will be able to use it too – FABULOUS. Thanks!
