Looks like I shouldn´t aim for the Greens as a "spank the big party" alternative: opposition to nuclear power and GM in principle isn´t my position. And, sadly, there is a place for Zoos in conservation terms and I think probably for animal research in medicine. And banning all experiments on embryos feels like a hardened right wing position (and their justification in terms of differing ethical and scientific risks is frankly absurd; assuming the embryo is not directly killed for the stem cells, of course).
