Child Hunger, As Seen At Wal-Mart is a depressing parable for our times. I’m working with prepaid cards at the moment, so this illustration is some serious colour for our round tables.
Child Hunger, As Seen At Wal-Mart

Unless I misread it, there’s no mention of one key issue keeping people out of Wal-Mart: the supply of goods from China, and the lack of a policy to negotiate ways in which US manufacturing jobs can be reintroduced into the Wal-Mart sales cycle. No jobs, then people are going to need government support. I don’t think it’s beyondtheir capacity to work on this but it’s beyond their intent.
