I’m not sure why I find them funny, but I do. I was searching for a bbq related one for Mark, but didn’t come across one. However, this one gets the right kind of message across!

Chez Longman has a cat now. She´s called Ness – not because she´s hard to take a photo of, or because she resembles a Scottish monster. It´s short for Nespresso. She´s coffee coloured and has a knack for keeping the missus up all night.
Apparently chez Raggett is on the same track. No, not keeping the missus up all night, but getting a feline addition to the ranch. Friends have a pregnant stray that they can´t submit to the "neuter and terminate" rules of the local council / RSPCA / authority on stray pregnant cats. Having put it that way, I can see why. But why us?
So you´re getting one of then kittens or the pregnant cat?
I think a kitten. We once had a cat give birth to four kittens underneath my parents´ dining table during a dinner party.
Maybe it didn´t want to miss any of the conversation..
If you´re getting a kitten I take it you haven´t just gone out and bought yourselves a nice new sofa.
