NB don’t sign up – the site is geared to emailing your whole email list. The directory is available from the bottom of the home page (I think it is their SEO technique).

From previous excursions on Google I know that among my namesakes are a chap who´s quite fond of playing cricket on ice and another who is a demolitions expert in Oklahoma. I´ve always thought they should meet.
Years ago I recall reading about a wealthy hoaxer who invited a random group of people together for a large drinks party at a prestigious venue. When these people circulated and introduced themselves to one another they all discovered they had the word "bottom" in the surnames – Sidebottom, Winterbottom etc – and that this was the only thing in common they could find about why they might have been invited.
