So there would have been a sequel to the Hitchhikers’ Guide game. I used to have to bump my mum off her old Amstrad (PCW-8256, I think) to play the game and only finished it by finding answers on an old bulletin board – well before the full-on internet. Fascinating reading about the internal struggles to get the game not launched.
Wow, that Amstrad looks like it must have packed some serious processing power! We had the PCW-9512 – you had to load up the system software every time you switched it on using something called the "Locoscript Start-of-Day Disk". Happy days
